The one-off work that makes a house specific: wood mantels, range hoods, columns and column wraps, arches, ceiling detail, and the pieces that aren't on any order form. This is the work we like most, because it's the part that takes figuring out on site instead of pulling a number off a plan.

What goes into custom accents.
The custom accent is usually the piece a client ends up showing off, and it's the one with no standard to price or build from. We take the one-offs on and work them out in the field. The work we like most:
Mantels & fireplace surrounds

Wood range hoods
Paint- or stain-grade wood range hoods and hood wraps, scaled to the kitchen and built around the venting. (See wood range hood ideas.)
Columns, arches & curved trim
Column wraps and pilasters, arched openings, and radius trim, the specialty cuts where we bend, kerf, or laminate stock to follow a curve.
Floating shelves & one-offs
Floating shelves, bracket work, niches, and the pieces that have no standard and no order form.
