Paneling is all in the layout. Uneven frames read as a mistake from across the room, so we center and balance every course to the wall before anything gets nailed up. The styles we install:
Picture-frame & applied moulding
Boxes of applied moulding on a finished wall. It's the lightest touch of the paneling options, and the skill is almost entirely in getting the layout even.
Board-and-batten & shaker
Vertical battens and clean shaker flat-panel, the two that show up most in modern-traditional rooms. (See wainscoting styles.)
Raised & recessed panel
Formal raised-panel and recessed-panel wainscot for traditional and transitional rooms.
Stair walls & full-height
Stairwell paneling and full-height feature walls, matched to the home's style. (See trim by home style.)
Why it matters to your schedule
Paneling is all layout. If the frames come out uneven or the end panels don't match, you read it as a mistake from across the room before you can say why. We center and balance the courses to the wall and plan the outlets and switches in, so it holds up to a close look.
