Moulding & Trim in Lenoir City.
Coped, scarfed, and scribed crown and trim carpentry for Lenoir City's lake-house builds and custom homes. Install-only, built for GCs.
Crown and trim that reads custom on a Lenoir City lake house
Lenoir City sits where the Tennessee River widens into Fort Loudoun Lake and the Tellico Lake shoreline, and the homes here follow suit: vaulted great rooms with long window walls, tall foyers, and open sightlines a buyer takes in within the first ten seconds. On builds like that, the trim line is what your eye follows across the whole room. We run crown, base, and casing as finish work: inside corners coped so the joint stays tight when the framing moves through a humid lakeside summer, outside corners mitered and glued so they never open, and long walls scarfed at 30–45 degrees over a stud so a seam disappears across a 20-foot run. See the full crown molding & trim service for how we scope a package.
Detailing for tall rooms, out-of-square walls, and real materials
Waterfront and Tellico Village-style custom homes rarely give you a square room, and we don't pretend otherwise. We scribe casing and base to walls that wander, set reveals consistent so every door and window reads the same, and stack build-up crown on tall ceilings so the profile holds its shape from the floor twelve feet below. Profile selection matters as much as the cut, since a heavy cove reads differently in a beamed great room than in a hallway, so we walk it with the builder or designer up front; our field note on crown types and when to use them lays out the trade-offs. Typical crown runs about $5–12 per linear foot installed and base about $3–8 per linear foot, depending on profile, height, and paint-grade versus stain-grade stock; anything with build-up, coffered work, or wainscot we quote by the room.
Built for the builders and remodelers working Loudon County
Most of our work here is for general contractors and custom builders who need a trim crew that shows up on schedule, protects finished floors and cabinets, and closes out a punch list, though we're glad to work directly with homeowners, designers, and cabinet shops on a single room or a whole-house package. We're install-only, so if you're still working out profiles and layout, we'll route the design side out and focus on the cut and the fit. See where we cover across Lenoir City and the surrounding Loudon County lake communities, from the Fort Loudoun shoreline to the Tellico side, and send us the plans when you're ready to talk trim.
